The applicant is seeking to construct a 5-story mixed use building totalling approximately 51,000 SF, which will feature commercial space and 34 market rate apartments, 20% (7) of which are priced as workforce housing (80% area median income).  Added costs in preparing the existing site for development, complying with the Town's design standards, and financing and construction costs impediments require assistance to make the project financially feasible.  The project is an Enhancement Area and properly zoned for this type of use.
